Ghost Athletica is a hockey-specific sports performance and physical therapy ecosystem based in Byron Center and Grand Rapids, Michigan. We help hockey players of every level, from youth to professional, build the strength, speed, durability, and confidence to perform at their best and stay on the ice. Our founder, Dr. Jamie Phillips, DPT, CSCS, is a former professional goalie who was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets organization, played Division I hockey at Michigan Tech, and competed in the AHL and ECHL with NHL call-ups. That playing experience, combined with clinical and strength training credentials, shapes everything we do. We know what the game demands because we have lived it. What we offer: Strength and conditioning built specifically for hockey players Cash-pay physical therapy through Ghost Rehab & Performance, with no insurance delays, longer one-on-one sessions, and a return-to-play focus Goalie development, including movement, mobility, and on-ice and off-ice training Nutrition guidance from a registered dietitian Mindset coaching for confidence, focus, and resilience Vision training to sharpen tracking, reaction, and decision-making Fitness testing and athlete tracking so players and parents can see measurable progress Whether you're a youth player building a foundation, a high school or junior athlete chasing the next level, or a pro maintaining an edge, our team builds a plan around your sport, your position, and your goals. Ghost Athletica is proud to be part of the West Michigan business community and to help local players develop right here at home.
